Zamir Amiri is a dynamic IT professional and System Engineer at Moore Afghanistan. With over five years of progressive experience across systems engineering, network administration, and IT operations, Zamir has played a central role in advancing Moore Afghanistan’s technical capabilities and digital resilience.
Zamir has led and executed high-impact infrastructure projects, including the successful migration of legacy systems from VMware and AWS to a Proxmox-based on-premise data center. He has architected mid-level data center environments and built robust monitoring and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Wazuh, and Tenable Nessus, significantly enhancing system performance and security compliance, including PCI DSS standards.
His technical expertise extends across virtualization, scripting, automation, and network security, with advanced proficiency in tools such as Linux, Docker, Ansible, Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and Pfsense. Zamir is also well-versed in cloud platforms and hosting environments and has hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, enabling seamless collaboration, secure communication, and efficient service delivery across teams.
Zamir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development (IT/ITES) from the University of Delhi and is a Linux Foundation Certified IT Associate (LFCA). His professional credentials also include a Software Engineer certification from NASSCOM and several specialized certifications in IT support, web development, and containerization.
Fluent in Pashto, Dari, English, and Urdu, Zamir brings a multicultural and collaborative approach to technology leadership.
