Ahmad Shah Abdali is the Chief Compliance Officer at Afghanistan Holding Group (AHG) Zinzir LTD – HesabPay, where he leads the company’s compliance strategy and works closely with Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) to ensure adherence to all regulations governing Electronic Money Institution (EMI) activities. He supports the development and implementation of effective legal compliance programs, drafts and updates company policies and procedures in alignment with DAB regulations and serves as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management, seeking clarification, or report irregularities. In addition, he oversees administrative, risk mitigation, financial audits, monitoring, and innovation initiatives.
With more than 15 years of experience in administration, management, finance, and operations, Mr. Ahmad Shah Abdali has established a strong reputation for delivering secure and scalable solutions in mission-critical environments. Prior to his current role, he spent over 10 years with AHG Moore LLC, where he specialized in financial management and operational oversight.
Mr. Ahmad Shah Abdali holds a master’s degree in Economic Development from Kateb University and possesses professional certifications in Finance, Management, QuickBook, and Proposal Writing. Fluent in Dari, Pashto, English, and Urdu, he combines deep expertise in finance, management, audit, operations, and compliance with cross-cultural leadership skills to drive the growth and resilience of the compliance function.
